You can also take a ferry from Qeshm island to Hormuz. From airport or train station you can take a 20 minute taxi and reach the port in Bandar Abbas, then a one hour ferry ride and you are on your way to amazing Hormuz. You can reach Bandar Abbas by train, by bus or by flight. Hormuz island covers an area of 42 square kilometer and is oval shaped and sits 8 km south of Bandar Abbas.
